The I-ViSTA is a confidential and vital part of each students training. A powerful assessment tool, I-ViSTA is a thorough personal assessment that utilizes hundreds of factors to generate a detailed student profile. Things like vulnerability, political, personal and electronic assessments, deep open source intelligence collection and analysis, physical and psychological screening, stress testing and profiling are combined to provide the course manager with the ability to determine each students unique skills, learning styles and training needs.

Once the I-ViSTA report is complete, instructors utilize it to design exercises and tailor training in an effort to create a course experience that meets the unique needs of each student. Through this approach, students from diverse backgrounds, capabilities and experience levels may attend the course and emerge with consistent and equally effective skills. Our instructors work together to create conditioned responses in students that allow them to function at high levels while under the physical and psychological stress that often accompanies violent encounters. By using direct assessments, real world and simulated events and the exclusive I-ViSTA program, each student leaves C-CAST with a set of survival skills that reflexively draw on their strengths and diminish their vulnerabilities.
